I have thirty years experience as a journalist and freelance writer. I’ve written articles and features for national, regional and online magazines, travel and tourism books, newspapers and blogs. My media writing includes news features, copywriting, commercials, press releases, promotional materials, social media updates and web copy.
I also write two weekly blogs, A Grave Interest, which delves into history, genealogy and cemetery culture. Joy's JOY of Wine takes a no-fuss look at wine and the wine lifestyle. I know the wine industry well; I judge for national wine competitions, speak about wine, and have over ten years experience owning a winery, and marketing in the industry.
I have several years in the broadcasting industry as an on-air voice and host, along with being a producer/director, writer, and documentary maker.
